Geese in Sefton Park lake

While walking around Sefton Park we found some nice geese in the lake. There was still just enough fog for a nice atmospheric shot so I used the 10mm and got as close as I could to them. That way I could still capture the landscape. At 10mm you have to get really close.

Camera: Canon 30D // Focal Length: 10mm // Exposure Time: 1/1000 // Aperture: f/9.0 // ISO: 640 // Sigma 10-20mm f/4-5.6

  • That's a great shot. I love the angle and composition.
  • Great camera position!

this is one of the nicest shots i've seen from you in a long long time pete :)
  • Blimey. How fab. It's down to the low viewpoint that includes the viewer so much more.
  • Nicely done. I like the way the lake draws you further into the picture.
