		<description>I notice banding in my shots where I under-exposed by a long way and then spank it in RSE/PS. But this looks a good location. There&#039;s often loads of abstracts of the Mayor&#039;s new offices but rarely the &quot;in context&quot; ones.</description>

		<description>I get the same banding sometimes. I think it comes from the greater extremes of tone when you convert to b&amp;w, that depends on the colour bias you&#039;re using of course but if you have a blue sky and convert with a red bias then it really does push the tones. All photoshop manipulation damages the pixels and can lessen the tonal range so the less you do the better. Working in 16bit certainly seems to help.</description>
