Construction of a landing stage

Just a few steps further along the walkway at the Pier Head you’ll find a direct comparison to work being done in front of the Liver building. Their they are desconstructing the landing stage that sank. Here they are building a new one for large cruise ships. While the other shot was HDR’d, I felt I didn’t really need it and I could make a nice enough image without it. On a slightly different note, I’ve got this real craving to get in my car and drive to Switzerland.

love this shot Pete, this is right outside my office - you should have come on in for a cuppa ;D
  • I like the silhouettes and the beautiful sky, however, in my opinion, the foreground should be a little brighter and show a few more details than it does. Good motif, though, and the fence/rail makes a very nice effect in this photo.
