This is one of those decisive moment shots for me. A second either way and I’d have missed it. I’d have missed her flowing hair. She would have ran past the shop and I missed the moment where something caught her eye. I don’t know what as Sayers was closed, but it makes you wonder what did. This was taken on Friday afternoon. I had a job to do that basically involved walking from the Met Quarter to Albert Dock. I’ve done that many times, but I’ve never done it slowly. I’ve never really taken my time over it. What I found was a very interesting route. I found new things on Mathew Street to photograph. I enjoyed standing around doing street photography, though I still feel a bit nervous about doing that without peoples permission.
