Gilmerton Cove

While in Edinburgh I was lucky enough to have a private view of Gilmerton Cove. Centuries ago people hand carved an underground pub of sorts. You can see all the scratch marks from digging. The place is surprisingly large considering its been hand carved out of stone. Its also very scary when someone accidently turns out the main lights.

I love the lighting, makes me wonder what kind of creepy thing is looming in the darkness … maybe rats!
