So I’m sitting here doing a HDR image and I think its all wrong. Its too loud, too ott and just not nice to look at. I bin it. It wasn’t a particularly bad image just it felt wrong to me. I’ve really taken to portraits recently. I love the simplicity of them. I think its sort of funny finding a sudden dislike for ott HDR images while sitting in your own gallery surrounded by them. Of course I still love the images I’ve done, and I will continue to do HDR but when the light is right. I normally do HDR in winter / spring and then people in summer / autumn because there are lots of events in town so plenty of people shots to be had. For now, say hello to Fiona.
