Despite the thunderstorm. Despite the rain. Despite the lack of numbers. People turned up at a cricket ground in Liverpool to show their support in the fight against breast cancer. Not only did they manage to create ‘Lucy’ but as you can see, they had a great time.
A really splash of colour (sorry could not resist!). Joking apart, the pink, blue and green are a very effective combination with the falling rain adding a nice sparkle.
I was at the event as a member of Pool of Life, a breast cancer survivors Dragon boat team based in Liverpool, It was nice to see people turning out on a rainy day to show support, I think next year there will be a lot more at the event.
