Wonderful set of images here… really good job! Great that you got both sides of the demo, too. You were very brave shooting BNP members… I’ve had close scrapes with them myself in the past. Great photojournalism, wouldn’t look out of place in a Guardian magazine picture-story.

This is great work. Don’t know much about BNP other than my quick Google search but sounds like “KKK” sentiments. At any rate, your work has captured the passion and immediacy of the moment. Photography at it’s best…..well done!

It really was. At one point I was standing between 3 lines of police and close to 100 people shouting. Perhaps not the wisest thing but thats where the photo was.
