Heswall Beach on the Wirral. Not really a beach, or at least this bit isn’t. It is filled with boats old and new. Apparently the tide comes right up to the wall by Sheldrakes restaurant there. Its been 20 years or so since I was last here. I completely forgot it existed and I had no idea there were cool old boats there just begging to be photographed. This is another HDR with my D700 and I find I’m using 7 brackets more and more now.

I find the colors, particularly of the vessels, while beautiful are too intense and unnatural for my taste...but that is just a personal preference on my part. It seems like it is a skillful execution of HDR. I have never done HDR so I have no clue what it involves.
