Hello Pete,

I just recently discovered your site and finding it really breathtaking. I admire your shots. Period.

I just have one quick question about these photos. I am fairly new to photography and unaware of most rules when it comes to taking pictures in public. Did you asked all the people in the frame for permission to post their shots in your website/blog?

In case you have already answered this question somewhere in your archives, i apologize for asking it again, but can you please kindly direct me?

An excellent series – fine photojournalism, full of energy. My favourite of the lot is the one of the four occupied windows, which perhaps tells the story in the most subtle of ways…they all seem to be looking nervously on the crowd below.

Your documentary / photojournalism shots are on the whole totally awesome Pete, in a different league from your landscape forays. Are you still actively working as a documentary photographer and are there any outlets left for this sort of photojournalism?

A few of them really capture the energy.. some are a bit below your average though. Just my 2 cents ;-)
