I never normally put a black and white version of a previously posted shot up these days. I believe its one or the other but I do love both for separate reasons so here you go.

I agree.
The B/W shows the beautiful tonality and textures of the captured subject; where the colourful one is gorgeous in its own rite, but the colours distract the viewer from the small details.
But I guess it all depends on your own subjective taste, and that’s the beauty of photography. Great work!
Oh I like the black and white. It is beautiful.
Colour image is very good, but the B&W is superb
