People in Liverpool pass by the BBC Big Screen while news of the election is played live. We currently have a hung parliament and as you can see here normal every day people are effected and taking an interest in politics.

I love the way the world is getting smaller; here in the US we've had a good and interesting amount of coverage on the contentious British elections, coinciding with the worldwide interest in our own '08 elections. More and more obvious that the world's residents can't all ignore each other any longer.
